Thanks for what you have done so far. I put a link to pastebin above in the sticky post by the files I need. Those need to be copy and pasted there in their entirety. I need the full text in the document including folders. Those are used by the developers (which I am not one) to tell me what is wrong and how to resolve the issue. If it's a bug maybe they can make a fix for it. So please paste the text from those files into that website.

The bash.ini, BashBugDump.log, BashBugDump_startup.log are all in the Mopy folder where you put Wrye Bash, after you run the Wrye Bash Debug.bat file.

Dev responce:

It's not an issue in bolt, it's Issue 95 poking up again (fids in short form instead of long form). Without much more detail, we can't fix this occurrence: we need to know the minimum Bashed Patch config that will trigger it, load order, etc. Then we can figure out which patcher is triggering it, and find where the logic error is that's causing fids to be in short form.

My comments:

So in short unless you can help us this will never go away because it happening in one of the files you have installed. Please respond with the required files copied and pasted into pastebin, and also provide all the names of the plugins you have installed. To get the names is pretty easy. Just go to the Mods tab and click here.  Since it only happens with certain files then we need your help to fix it.

If this is the problem I think it is, when rebuilding the bashed patch, go to the "Race Records" section (near the bottom of the list on the left-hand side of the window where you configure the bashed patch), and make sure the "Races Have All Eyes" and "Races Have All Hairs" options are not checked. They're the ones causing the issue.

Alternatively, build the patch using CBash, since that issue only manifests itself in the old patcher. You can build the patch using CBash by selecting the "Rebuild Patch (CBash *BETA*)..." option instead of the "Rebuild Patch..." option. In spite of the BETA label, it's pretty stable and reliable. CBash is much faster and has more options for patching.

Anyhow, that particular issue has been fixed for the next release (which should hopefully come out soon).

So I double click on the "Wrye Bash" in my games directory, and it shows a loading mouse for a split second, but then doesn't start. Any help?

In response to post #17504004.

Perform the steps in sticky post "Wrye Bash crashing on Startup". If nothing fixes it then post the requested files on pastebin as suggested.

So apparently what fixed it for me was to install it in the original Oblivion directory.

In response to post #17707114.

I got the same issue, I could not move mods or uninstall them with out the error popping up, I gave up uninstalled Wrye Bash and the game from steam and deleted the leftovers. This version at least for me seems broken.

Edit: A new version has since come out but I have not tried it yet.

So having a bit of a problem.

The story is basically this, I had to verify my cache for oblivion on steam (I somehow lost 11 files or the files got corrupted or something) and now I can't move mods around in Wrye Bash, I keep getting an error message saying "Can't load plugins before masters"

I already tried re-installing Wrye Bash but that didn't work.

Also every single one of my mods is set to 1/1/2000 I'm not sure what this means.

I am getting reports that users can not open the files downloaded from the Nexus. Please download them from my OneDrive as a mirror or the GitHub site. I have contacted the Staff about the corrupt downloads and am waiting for a response.
