So far I,ve been doing all my trading with the creeper at Gharok manor in Caldera but now I,ve got about a million drakes worth of items in storage and I cant find a trader with enough cash to buy them. Am I supposed to sell a $120,000 daedric dai-katana for $5000 or is there a rich trader somewhere in Vvardenfell who can answer my prayers? Simus, High Elf Mage

Just started the game myself...

But to the east of Vivec, on a tiny island next door to a dwemmer ruin, is a talking mudcrab with 10,000 a day, and he seems to buy more items than creeper will.

If you line yourself up with the top row of boxes for vivec in the world map and travel east in as straight a line as possible, you'll find him. Don't kill any crabs in this area intil you've clicked to talk to them: the merchant is the onlyone who'll answer...

why would you want to sell a DDK anyway? Its like the best longsword in the game.

Btw you dont have to sell stuff to creeper for 5K you can sell him a bunch of 5K stuff then buy it back so he has what ever amout of gold you want him to and then sell them back again. Soul Gems and Ordinator armor work nice for this.

Alternativly you could use the Tes to give creeper/mudcrab or anyother NPC 200,000$.

thanks for the tips guys. I probably wont sell the DDK I was just using it as an example, but then again as a mage I dont have much use for weapons

If you don't consider it to be cheating, you can download a mod that will give the creeper a whole lot more money. I have seen ones that will give him anywhere between 200000 to 1000000 drakes/septims/whatever. Do that, and sell anything you want to him (at least whatever he'll buy).

i find it's just easy to go in and mod the game with giving the creeper or any other random merchant a whole lot of gold. but in some ways this unbalances the game cause you get those uber enchanted artifacts much earlier than you should. i'm trying as hard as i can to do it without modding in something crazy, but it's hard not to when you have an item worth 50k staring you in the face.
