I love SkyUI because it has a better feel than the stock UI.
My gripe comes from the fact, that every Bethesda game that comes out, I hear the 'Outrage' from players that only play the Vanilla version.
They don't understand why anyone would want to mod the game..... They hate mods...
One person who is a 'strict vanilla-er' saw MY heavily modded game and turned her nose up at me as if I had just taken a bottle of 40 year old single-malt scotch and made a "Scotch and Coke" out of it.
Those Libtarded A$$clowns aren't being 'forced' to play mods, so I don't listen to them, but it gets my dander up when folks troll MOD forums and *censored* at others that play a game using mods.
Bethesda designed the game to be modded by the players, because they obviously couldn't FIT everything into one aspect of the game.
I play to enjoy, and I enjoy my game my way. So... "Vanillaizers", go play on your own single-minded forums...

Yes, yes, oh my god, yes.
I dislike the vanilla menu, because it gets so cluttered so fast.
And while CFM is certainly an improvement, the clutter feels even worse.
This menu is exactly what I want. Everything is sorted into neat categories, it takes up a cozy amount of space, and to top it off, they've added the best equipment set system I've ever seen in a mod; and, each feature is fully configurable.
They never let me down. I can't wait for this version to be released.

Woow! This looks promising. Glad they handled the favorites menu.

I have to agree I probably am using almost 200 mods on my computer right and I am sure I will find other ones soon that I think are cool and I will get them and will most likely keep them
and why should a game have to be vanilla some mods literally can make or break a games feel altogether if you use it right.

"I also have nothing against vanilla menu, but SkyUI is a must-have for MCM. Thats the only reason people are downloading it. "
well, that's not true...at least for the majority of users.
i started using SkyUI a lot of time ago because, IMHO, it is way better than vanilla UI...
vanila UI is just a big mess of objects, not a menu\UI\inventory...
MCM? is an important feature, but that is not the main reason to use SkyUI...

Anyone who would snub the idea of modding a game is shortsighted, has poor business sense, and is probably just a little mentally challenged. Allowing a game to be modded is the smartest business decision a game producer can make! No one game can be everything to everyone...until it gets modded. Then the pervs can have their sex-games, the lore-nazis their TES-Bible friendly game, the eye-candy freaks their uber-high-definition textures, PP-filters, and 2 FPS games, and everyone in between their own custom, brain-melting bit of gaming goodness. Everyone can be happy and satisfied and even engage that little DIY bug in the process.
When you open up that functionality, you widen your support base, increase the playable life of your game, and significantly lengthen the timeframe that you can viably make sales. It also takes much of the pressure to make a "perfect" game off the designers. All they really have to do is make a reasonably decent framework. The modding community will do the rest.
With that thought, I would like to sing some heart-felt praises to the modding community that has, once again, taken a mind-numbingly crap-tastic and ugly "vanilla" game and made it beautiful, playable, and thoroughly enjoyable. Like many games before it, [cough, cough, Minecraft, cough, cough] you have polished a turd and made a diamond. Without you, TES V would be sitting on a shelf collecting dust, instead of draining away weeks of my life otherwise spent in quality time with my family, volunteering at homeless shelters, and other soul-enriching activities.
