The LMG is a New Vegas bug. Pick it up, open your pip boy. Close your pip boy. Open it again. Fixed.
It's possible your strength is too low to use it also.

First off, love this mod. I've played through it countless times. Fantastic. I recently did a fresh install of New Vegas and got this mod yet again. I've encountered a weird bug though. Not game breaking, but strange. Whenever I start a new game in standard New Vegas, "Off to See the Wizard" is in my quest log. How, I'm not sure. It's just always there. I didn't have this happen on my old install, which I did manually. This time I used NMM as I saw it's supported. I also have Project Nevada installed, along with the patch activated. Everything should be good. Have a made a simple mistake somewhere, or what's wrong do you think? I'll mess with my load order and maybe that will help but I'm clueless. Thanks for any ideas.

This is not a mod, it's an entire new chapter of the Fallout series... and I love love love it! <3 Project Brazil gives you a real opportunity to role-play. The NPCs and the backstory are very interesting and the Vault is beautifully made. I explored the wasteland too, and I think that it's going to be awesome, when it's completed. I hope Bethesda is capable of doing a job as great as yours on their next game, or I'll be very much disappointed in them. Keep up the good work, I enjoyed your mod very much and can't wait for the second installment! :-)
Here are the little bugs I found, so you can look into them. IDK if all of them are bugs, but here they are. English isn't my first language, though, so if you need a better explanation of the problem, just ask and I'll try to give it. :-)
I used NMM to install the 1.2.0 full version, PB is the only mod I have installed, and I chose the nerd path.
1) Jen doesn't want to come with me out of the Vault. The first time I try to rescue her (just after the dream sequence, after speaking with Earnest about her) I gently try to convince her, but she refuses. After killing Bragg and speaking with Christianson, I go to her room again, but she only says to leave her alone (there is no dialogue window).
2) Johnny's quest "No hard feelings" doesn't show up at all. I only have a "quest failed" notice, after rescuing him from the Vault security cell.
3) Kira's quest "I'd wrestle a bear for you" doesn't show up as well, neither does the "quest failed" notice. She helps me throughout the quest "Fix the old computer" and has two dialogue options regarding the Exodites (it's true/it's false that our parents were kidnapped by slavers). I choose to believe her, but no quest and no Nerdorable perk. :-(
4) Is Earnest supposed to be rude to me in the first part of the prequel? IDK if this is a bug, but I treat him right and he threatens me... :-D
5) I admit that I went off to explore the Vault very early (at the beginning of Dr. Rossman's quest), and that I found the robotics lab before the quest "Wait, we have robots?" even started. BUT! Alpha's and B6rk's companion quests started the moment I found them. Alpha's quest went quite well: I repaired it and the following morning Alpha followed me (but no Alpha Strike perk). B6rk's quest, instead, behaved strangely. The first time that I tried, it worked, and I managed to repair the robot, but then the game crashed and I had to reload a previous save. After that, B6rk was always unresponsive: the terminal said that I needed to repair B6rk; I tried to interact with the robot as I did before the crash, but no dialogue window appeared. As a result, I had a "quest failed" notice after the dream sequence. I tried reloading various saves, but with the same result.
6) After the dream sequence I had a "quest failed" notice for a "Pipe quest"... that nobody ever gave me. :-D
7) Jason Star-Cristianson says that I talked to his dad about him, but this isn't true. As I said, I went to explore the Vault very early and, while exploring, Earnest gave me the quest "Off to see the wizard". Overseer Christianson asked me about giant metal cockroaches, and that's all. He never talks about Jason, but says a little about Shawn (if I recall correctly). On a side note, at that point of the story, I really didn't know anything about the hologram, because I had not repaired the computers yet... so... how the heck did the Overseer see the Enclave hologram?
I had the requisites for some other perks that I didn't receive. They are: Vault Tech I, Vault Tech II, Scout Master, and Electro Lover.
9) Eric's dialogue loops: when he is in the upper apartments with Norman, Eric asks me to see how Jamie is doing, I go and talk to her, then I return to him, and he asks me again to talk to Jamie.
10) While talking to Ben on my way out of the Vault, one of the player's dialogue options refers to a "ring of bodies" around him. There were no bodies around Ben.
I think that's all... and I hope that this is useful info for you. A last question: how can I make a donation to the team? :-)

1) I'll see if I can rig it so that Jen's dialogue for the Athlete will link up with the Nerd after talking to Christianson today. That was a change I had planned for 1.3.0 anyway, it just hasn't been added yet.
2) Huh. It should fail as a Nerd under any circumstance. He should talk to you and be kindof an ass, then run away. He has a **spoiler** later.
3) That's a bug. Complicated script. Sometimes reading the terminals before talking to her causes this. Sometimes it just forgets the variable all together.
4) He's supposed to be nice to the Nerd, and we recorded dialogue for it, I just don't think it was implemented. I just looked in GECK, and it's there, just unlinked. I'll mention it to Rick.
5) B6RK's quest bugs out when the game crashes. It's a major issue with the Gambryo engine. Rick patched up this quest a lot in 1.3.0.
6) You can get pipe Quest from Joe Marshall upstairs. It fails just because we have an automatic kill script that runs on the dream to turn off any missed quests. GECK doesn't have a silent fail, as far as I know. Maybe we can make one.
7) in 1.3.0, I'll add those branches, and a condition to Jason's topic to check if you really talked to him or not. I didn't write this quest very well back in the day. I learned to see variables ahead of time now, but they still sneak up on me.
Those will be implemented for the 2nd Installment.
9) Yep! I didn't write a line there, so we just loop that one unless Jamie is following you.
10) There should be.
Cheers! There is a donate button on our main page. I'll use it to re-up my subscription to Nexus.

Thanks for your clarifications! :-)
I met Joe Marshall and used all the dialogue options with him (I always do this with all the NPCs) but he didn't give me the pipe quest. Maybe I didn't have the requirements?
And what about the Alpha Strike perk? It's going to be implemented later, or did I miss it because I went to the lab too soon?
I totally missed the donate button. It won't happen again, I swear!

Joe's quest should have been available. Hum. Try it again in an Athlete path and let me know.
ALPHA Strike will be a 2nd Installment Perk, and we'll add it later. It really doesn't get used in the 1st Installment.

Back from an athlete path... here are some observations, some of them may be glitches.
1) "How do I gurl?": on my first try, I chose the "sweet talker" option in Bragg's dialogue, and he shooed me away. That's fine, I guess, but when I went back to Jen, her dialogue window opened and closed immediately after her greeting (something like "How did it go, Jr. Scooby?"), giving me no chance to reply. So I restarted, but choosing the "sweet talker" option in Bragg's window, always caused this bug in Jen's dialogue. When I chose the "born soldier" option, that fixed Jen's dialogue.
2) "Report to Vault Security": due to my low strength stat, I made a very poor first impression on Bragg, who sent me to Chevy anyway. I managed to talk her into giving me a job in Vault security (acquiring gun and armor, and also Born Soldier I and II perks); after that, however, the possibility to work in maintenance remained open (Joe Marshall gave me the "Pipe quest"). Is that right? In the "flowchart" you provided, it seems that if only Chevy rejects you, you can ask Joe to work with him.
3) Coach Bragg's opinion of my Star Player was unclear to me, because his dialogue lines were "mixed": sometimes he congratulated and sometimes he insulted her. Maybe that was his "neutral" attitude, but he seemed more schizophrenic to me (If you need an example of this, I'll replay the game and write down the lines he says in the exact order). This strange attitude of Bragg's didn't bug any quest or objective... but from a roleplayer's point of view it is... well, unreadable... or you may think he is a nutter.
4) In the dream sequence I couldn't "charm" the super mutant: after a successful speech challenge, he becomes hostile anyway (despite me having 10 in charisma).
5) Karma: as an athlete, you gain good karma when you kill Enclave Patriots but, if you play as a nerd, you don't. Why? And, moreover, why do you gain good karma killing radroaches in the athlete dream sequence? (Is that a metaphor? :-D) By the way, I was sort of a saint when I exited the Vault as an athlete, owing to the amount of Patriots (and radroaches) killed, but I didn't receive the "Guardian of Vault 18" perk.
6) I had the "Scout Master" perk from Rossman. So, as an athlete, it is available, but it isn't for a nerd charachter?
7) Again, no ring of bodies around Ben. No matter how many times I replay this.
Finally, I really don't want to bother you, I wrote hoping that my feedback would be useful for you. :-)
