I'm sure I'm not the only one on the Nexus who is a fan of The Hobbit. Although there's a few Lord of the Rings mods, The Hobbit mods are severly lacking. So here's a few ideas of mine for you expert modders out there:

____________________________________________________

1.) Erebor

When I first watched The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, I was taken away by Erebor. The visuals were amazing and it looked exactly how I'd pictured it. It truly shows off the Dwarves expert craftsmanship. The kingdom was immense and filled me with awe. If someone would like to take it up, the Chantry of Auri-El would be a great place to look at for a start.

2.) Rivendell

Much like Erebor, Rivendell looked fascinating in the film in it's own way. It's beauty and elegance made me wanting to see more (as I'm sure others were feeling the same way). Rivendell has been requested for years and I think it's time someone finally takes it upon themselves to make it.

3.) Dwarven Armor(s)

I've seen this been requested recently and I thought it was a great idea. There's a Dwarf race mod and this would go along great with it for any player who loves the dwarves. It, along with all the other ideas listed, is extremely lore friendly as well.

4.) Mirkwood Elven Armor

Seen (albeit briefly) in the introduction of The Hobbit were the Mirkwood Elves. Their armors looked truly breath-taking, and it instantly reminded me of something I'd see in Skyrim. A huge fan of the elven armors myself, this would be awesome to see be created into a mod.

5.) Dol Guldur

Although not quite as menacing as the towers Orthanc and Barad-Dur, Dol Guldur certainly had an eerie feeling to it. This would probably be one of the easier mods to make on the list considering it'd be an open world area.

6.) Radagast the Brown

Although a little 'different' per say, Radagast is a very likable character in The Hobbit. I'd love to see somebody create him into an NPC and possibly a follower.

7.) A better weapon pack

As good as the first Hobbit weapon pack was, it only had 4 weapons. I want to see the other dwarves weapons, such as Balin's mace or Dwalin's axes. Or perhaps Radagast's staff would be something interesting to add.

The Thirteen Dwarves

Wouldn't it be awesome to play alongside the likes of Dwalin, Balin, Nori, etc.? Thorin Oakshield has already been made so it's mainly the other twelve I'm looking for. It'd be a very interesting follower mod that I'm sure lots of people would enjoy in light of The Desolation of Smaug which is coming out later this year. However, it might be a little challenging to get some of their hairstyles...

The Goblin King

I think it'd be pretty sweet to be able to slay the "great" Goblin King. However, this is definitely for the more "advanced" modders, as his body would be pretty difficult to create.

Mirkwood

Technically Mirkwood didn't appear in the first movie, but it will in The Desolation of Smaug. Looking at the other ones on the list, this one is currently the easiest. You'd have to add a lot of trees to give it that 'dense jungle' feeling, but other than that you'd just have to add some spiders and VOILA!

Also, if someone would like to create Radagast then this would be the place to put him!

I will support this because i myself am a fan.

I would gladly attempt to recreate Riverdell, if you support me with the architecture designs and a full perspective of the area, I will would start as soon as those are presented.

The only issue with make LOTR related mods is copy right issues so i would have to recreate and make it not the same.

Also if the mod is successfully beautiful it may be possible to contact the creator of "bosmer armors" to use for the elves.

Message me with your ideas.

Interesting Hairstyles & Beards

I tried making Dwalin and Balin yesterday, but their beards and hairstyles don't match anything in game. So I thought, "why not create new ones?" It'd be an interesting addition to the LOTR mods and even non-LOTR fans would be interested. Bushier eyebrows would also be good. Just look at some of their hairstyles:

The sword on the far left, which is a bit like a scimitar, would be very cool. I really liked the Sting from the Lotr weapons pack, and this is basically a longer version. Good ideas, and I would help but i'm not the best at modding. ;]

You mean Orcrist? It's actually in The Hobbit weapon pack.

Wargs

Technically wargs weren't just seen in The Hobbit, they were also seen in LOTR: The Two Towers. But it'd still be a very interesting addition to Skyrim. There have been various mount mods made, but none for LOTR fans. This would be a simple yet enjoyable mod that is also lore-friendly.
