A few hours ago, roughly around 5-6:00 PM, (It's 7 PM now), I suddenly was unable to connect to the New Vegas Nexus. I also cannot connect to the Oblivion Nexus though I can connect to other nexuses, no problem. I tried many different solutions but found I could access the site using only the data on my phone, and then again using a proxy server as the realization came to me. 

 

So, what do I do?

Try again later.  No part of the Nexus is (deliberately) restricted for certain members without a Formal Warning and Notice of that fact.  So any other inability to access some sites but not others is accidental, and temporary, and probably not limited to a specific user.

It is now 8 AM of the next day and still doesn't work ._. I don't think it's the IP address anymore as the IP address changed and it's changed nothing. All this started when I tried to manually download FOMM and every single server on the list didn't work and immediately jumped to error 404, before the website outright stopped responding. 

 

Whenever I try a proxy now it immediately begins on the error 404 page. 

 

Also, this has nothing to do with my computer. When I connect to the wifi on my phone and try to connect from there, the website also stops working, but I can connect when I use my data. 

 

Update: YES! IT WORKS! You were right, just had to wait, thank you XD. Im so glad, phew. Um, should I delete the topic or...

 

Update2: SON OF A, WHAT THE HELL. AGAIN. I tried downloading the goddamn FOMM again and this garbage started again!

 

Update3: And again, everytime I get connection back I lose it shortly -_-. I don't even try to do anything just click through a few pages.

Update4: Well, I just switched to a new computer, with an entirely different connection, in a different area all togather, and what do I find? Same thing! Now I know it has nothing to do with me so what the hell. 

 

It can't just be that the servers are full from the weekend outpour because it shouldn't outright block me for an entire day, it should just lag! 

 

And before anyone accuses me of being impatient this has been going on for, what, three days now? 

 

And I don't even care for an immediate fix, just tell me when this is going to be fixed period or if it's even being worked on! Something! Anything!

Same deal here I was trying to download a mod for a suer sledge and then it just froze and locked me out

Waiting for an hour without bothering the site sometimes lets me reconnect, but after a couple pages Im cut off again -_-.

Open a command prompt and enter tracert newvegas.nexusmods.com that should tell you were your connection attempts are being blocked or timing out.

same problem.. I try to connect on all my device and computer and they all fail to connect to newvegas nexus but skyrim work ....why ...

Hello! Have been having the same problems with Oblivion Nexus, Morrowind Nexus and the New Vegas Nexus ...Not sure as to what is going on...?

 

Please advise!

 

have just finished checking in the command prompt what is going on- nothing blocked- just appears to be timing out...This has been happening since yesterday...
