Best SLI Nvidia Inspector rendering mode settings for Skyrim?

I know there is a predefined SLI profile in the Nvidia Inspector for Skyrim, but under SLI you are able to set half a dozen values for several rendering modes.

Anybody already tested what settings are the best for performance there or knows a link to a good guide?

I tested a few and to my suprise I experienced relative large differences concerning fps in different settings...

Ok, some settings are selfexplaining but others, no idea:

(1) SLI AA -> Disabled (I have over 10 fps more if this is disabled...no idea why)

(2) Number of GPUs used on SLI rendering mode -> Autoselect (I have two cards, so 2 GPUs)

(3) Nvidia predefined number of GPUs to use on SLI rendering mode for DirectX10 -> Autoselect (should be off though, because Skyrim isn't a DirectX 10 application)

(4) Nvidia predefined number of GPUs to use on SLI rendering mode -> Four (this settings makes some difference, if I adjust only two I have less performance, although I have only 2 cards and therefore 2 GPUs)

(5) Nvidia predefined SLI mode on DirectX10 -> Autoselect (as under (3))

(6) Nvidia predefined SLI mode -> AFR2 (made the best experience with this setting)

(7) SLI rendering mode -> Autoselect

Especially the differences between (2) and (4) and between (6) and (7) aren't clear for me.

I just got ahold of nvidia inspector myself and was looking for the same thing. This article goes through many of the settings available through nvidia inspector following an explanation of such. Now one thing to note is that there won't be a "best settings" type of guide out there. This is where experimentation comes into play. In other words, get the client (nvidia inspector), change a setting or 2 and look for any differences in your game.

One thing the article mentions to do which I highly disagree with is regarding the Texture filtering - Anisotropic filter optimization and Anisotropic sample optimization. The article says to turn these two settings off (disabled). What I found is turning these two settings off is what makes graphics grainy when moving the camera around. At least that's the case with my nvidia quadro 2000 card. Like I said, this is all about experimentation. Anyway, here's the article.
