AARRGGH!!! I've been looking for the answer to this question now for days and it's been asked in this forum several times, but nobody posts the result!! What the heck is the answer...how do I re-open the Emerald Gates when going to the Mist temple??? Please somebody, tell me!!

AHHH! I found the answer! You simply don't go back to the Mist Temple thru that gate...there is actually a path to the left of the castle that leads to the back of the temple...just look at the map and you will see the path. Even if the jarl and his henchmen don't follow you, just take that path and after fighting a few guards at a wooden gate, you will get to the temple. They will be inside (I "waited" an hour after getting to the temple just in case). Why in the world would the Jarl walk back to a gate that isn't even supposed to be used is beyond me, but there's the answer! Hope it helps.

I'm not sure where my "edit" to my original post went to here is the answer to this question. You're not supposed to go to the temple via the Emerald Gates at all! Why the Jarl and his henchmen go that way is weird. There is actually a path to the left of the castle that leads you to the back of the temple...just follow it, no matter whether they go with you or not. You'll fight a couple of soldiers and you'll get to the temple. I waited an hour after reaching the temple just to make sure the Jarl eventually got the message! Everything else went very smoothly.

There is still the quest to return the stolen goods, and I have been at the Mammut place and found the chest, but empty, and now there is still the notice about this in my inventory, as well the quest and nothing continue.
Any idea?

it just happened to me the first time i entered falskaar. what i did to pass through it, is by save, load, then waiting for 1 hour. even if the guard suddenly stop moving, just go outside. he will start moving again and show you the way to next quest

No idea, if this is intentional or not, but there was also no quest marker leading to the chest.

In the Dreams in Oblivion quest, Brother Arnand just stops at the beginning of the deer cavern. He won't proceed ahead, just stands there. I've reloaded, trying to stay varying distances behind him, a little ahead of him, etc. He'll say "we have to keep going," but he won't proceed no matter what. Help!

After update to the last Version and traveling back to the Island and walked the way during quest and Mammut place, the quest finished, but the note is still occupied on my inventory and not gone and not able to drop it, as it says it is still an active quest object, even the quest has been finished.

So, we cleared Emerald Valley gates with Ulgar. After we kill everyone, he stands in front of a gate. I am telling that I am prepared, and after that the screen slowly goes black. Everything is as they should be, but after that, the screen comes back, Ulgar walks away, I can't move, so I am goddamn stuck in front of a gate! What the hell is going on?!
