Anyone else have this problem? I did, too. Can't speak for anyone else, but in my case I ended up figuring out that it was because of the "Azura's Mansion" mod I had downloaded (and it had nothing to do with load order--I checked). I got rid of the Azura's Mansion mod, the problem went away. Then, I reinstalled all the other mods I had also tried deleted to check if they were the culprit, and the problem remained gone. Hope this helps anyone with the same problem I had!

It is due to "evil GMSTs". Just clean it and all will be good.

 

Use TESTool to clean them. Just make sure you don't use "JUST FIX IT" option. It causes more problems than it solves.

thank you much, will try it out. Also, I meant "Afura's Mansion," not "Azura's Mansion."
