I became a freelance artist and I do commissions for a living, All self taught. I never did a lick of college, and I have a more than happy stable life. If I can do that, I think Alex can too!

You can do college, or do it yourself... But all it comes down to is the persons level of commitment.

P.S. Life is not a linear affair...for all you traditionalist out there.

That definately looks like a DLC to me. Should advertise it on tv! :) I'll certainly be dl'ing this ASAP. I just hope it's compatible with Tropical Skyrim...

Oh...this thread must be about the value of college degrees in today's world..what?  It isn't?  It is about a news story on this mod....ah..I see!

Get back on topic, stop using foul language, stop with the personal attacks.  I am going to be cleaning up this thread and if I have to come back again I will start issuing moderation.   You all know the rules of this site and they apply to these articles also.

This is the freaking internet.  Just go play outside or something.

Focus on the mod. It's linear, it's big, but boring, it's created without much of imagination in both quest and map design. I don't know if a college degree is good for anything in game industry, but to create something interesting, a person should have experienced life a little to have something to draw inspiration from; read something, learned something etc. A 19 year-old very rarely has enough experience, or knowledge, to inspire others with his work and this mod is a proof of that in my opinion.

Did you not read the big yellow post right before yours?  The topic of a college degree is NOT what this news article is about.~LIsnpuppy

I totally admire the dedication.
I'm a touring musician and for most of 5 years I made a good living with it.
I don't a have a degree and I learned playing music by just doing it.
I always wrote poetry, so songwriting was second nature.
Learning how to sing and play at the same time.... that was hard. Took about a year and a half.
Not sure what the point of what I was saying :-/
Oh yeah, good mod. I doubt that its career worthy from a company like Bethesda, but who knows.
I could knit pick at some of the things that I didn't think were that impressive, but he's done much more than I, so how could I justify saying anything like that. I've written several new bard songs for Skyrim but I haven't finished the process. Unfortunately it kinda sounds like Eddie Vedder in Skyrim... oh well, a Seattlite like me just kinda grudges like that.
I enjoyed Adamm Khuevrr soundtrack. This Mod reminded me to finish my 6 new bard songs.
I enjoyed the mod. It was a wonderful contribution to the game and not everyone needs a degree to pursue their passions life. Realistically though, these days... it's much harder to have a career without one. Good luck buddy, I truly hope the best.

his biggest mistake was stating he wanted a job with Bethesda.

Rookie move, but I love the mod..
