Ok I am running multiple texture packages. But what am reading is if you use the Skyrim HD 2K you don't need the official HD texture pack DLC and really don't need the unofficial texture package as well. Is this true? Will the game look just as good with just the Skyrim HD 2K lite and SMIM?

 

Now I also heard you can just uncheck the DLC Texture in NMM because if you install it will just redownload when you launch through Steam, true?

 

If I just uncheck these in NMM will I see a increase in performance? More so I want to see a decrease in VRAM usage since I am usually around 1500mb with a 1.5GB graphic card.

 

Also if I uncheck will it mess my current save. What would be the correct way to uninstall and still play my current save?
