[The Mantis]

I see great horror potential in morrowind. It has all the basics of horror.

Fog
Respawing
Darkness
Tombs
Severed body parts
Vampires
Zombies
Nightmares
Things attacking you when you sleep

The only thing its missing is spooky music. If I could replace the music from morrowind with the music from the resident evil games I would. But I dont know how to. Can anyone tell me?

i would imagine u would replace the morrowind music files under
C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind\Data Files\Music\Explore\
by renaming the resident evil music files 2 match the ones found under there. can also do it for the battle music and stuff as well i wud think

Yea it does. I downloaded the .mp3 files of the music <I own Resident Evil 2 for pc but can't seem to figure out how to change the files in sounds/bgm into .wav files> and its pretty diffrent. Doesn't really suit though. <I keep looking out for Zombies :lol: >

Not the battle music. The spooky piano music. The kind that plays when your in the police station.

There is another element that Morrowind needs to make some really scary stuff, one word: Lovecraft. Anybody ever read any books written by H.P. Lovecraft? There are some pointers that Morrowind could use that could really raise the horror bar, like his "fundemental premise that common human laws and interests.... mean nothing to the cosmos-at-large." Could work well to make some chilling monsters.
