So I am totally new at this and am downloading my first mod as I type this.  I am a console player and would like to use my controller to play Oblivion using Steam.  I am running windows 8 and downloaded xpadder and went in and changed the compatibility to windows 7 but it just freezes up.  Does anyone on here use a controller and xpadder with windows 8.  And if you do any suggestions on how to get it to work?  Thanks
