Hey all!

I've been working on a little project called the Haunted Manor. I'm not sure if this is going to be a mod, some asked me to release this stuff but who knows. I started this small project because I was inspired by Disney's the haunted mansion. I was going through some old photobooks and saw some photo's of my first time in Disney. I've always thought the haunted mansion was a great attraction so I decided to try to make some kind of haunted mansion myself. With the editor ofcourse. I've designed it myself but there are some reconizable scenes in the screens from the attraction. I dind't wanted to recreate it due to copyright laws and because I thought it would be more fun to give it something of myself. Currently I'm designing the manor itself. Here are some screens of what I've done till now:

All the images are online again on my homepage.

Noting is directly copied from the movies, everything is a bit modified. Like the chandeliers or the paintings. Even the front door looks the same but it's totally different. Only the wallpaper in the hall of portraits is recreated but ssshhh :innocent: don't tell anyone ....I'm not realy planning on releasing this as a mod, mabey just as a building kit but the original idea was more to show ppl what you can do with the editor. It was more like a showcase, another way of making an artwork. Hope ya like it!

hehe thx ! :lol: well you can learn it yourself. I've never read complicated books or other stuff to learn photoshop or max. Just keep on trying! But you realy must realy want to learn it. I've also learned everything myself. So you realy have to take the time to learn how to model and texture ^_^ it's not like you got to have any talents orso...well at least I don't think so ^_^
