Man, there are so many people that don't give enough credit to Bethesda for making such a great game. People just pick up Morrowind once, say the graphics aren't as good as Halo's, and then complain as to why the game can't be beaten in 5 hours. I hope that Oblivion will give Bethesda the credit and recognition they deserve from the people.

Yes, the graphics aren't as good as halo's. It IS an older game. But at least it has a PLOT!!

PEOPLE - learn about what you are posting before posting about it.
Make sure you've read these before posting [please]:
IGN Feature [3 Pages]
Gamespy Preview [5 Pages]
Gamespot Interview [2 Pages]
And finally, read through the Official Oblivion Site.
Now, as to your [repeated, ignorant] questions:
Oblivion has been announced for PC, and is being built on the XBox Next platform. So it's safe to assume that it will be available on those platforms, especially since the majority of MW sales came from Xbox. It may come out for Playstation 3, and doubtfully Nintendo's Revolution.
Next, Xbox Next won't cost $600. Likely around $400. [At launch.]
Oblivion will sell like mad. It is being made to appeal to mainstream gamers, while not alienating the hardcore Elder Scrolls fans, in order to maximize sales. Plus, it may be a launch title for Xbox Next. If so, expect a massive advertising campaign supplemented by Microsoft, pushing the Elder Scrolls' popularity even further. So expect it to get "recognition."
The graphics will be amazing. All new ligthing, mapping, and animations will provide deeper immersion into the overall game experience, while better NPC scripts and schedules will allow for a more believable world.
Finally, the PC version will be significantly better than any of the console versions. The CS alone will allow for infinite replayability and customization, and the plethora of mods that will inevitably come out [likely including the Phoenix Mod] will provide for more entertainment. Add that to a game taking hundreds of hours to fully complete, and you get a much better experience on PC than the console versions. Patches will likely only be available for the PC, so if there's a problem in the initial publishing, the PC will get the fix, not the console versions.
Hope that silences some of the spam...

Oblivion is basically the next generation of RPG's. To pout Slaiv's psot bluntly.

Reiel, you'd fit in well at Bethesda. Read the line at the bottom.

it really sucks that its going to be so much better for pc because we all know that the pc requirements will be insane! The average person will not have a pc powerful enough to run it. (me) I wont be able to get a pc like that for several more years. I played morrowind on pc and wish i could continue Oblivion on it. I would be willing to sacrfice Oblivion's graphics (just make them a little better than morrowind) for me to be able to run iton my pc. Plus i am one of those people that could care less about graphics. I'd play FF1 over FF10 anyday. I just hope they can even out the difference between the console and pc versions or by some godly chance make the req's not so bad.

More and more technology is coming out that significantly lowers sytem REQs. It's likely that many people will be able to run Oblivion, just on the lower [lowest] settings. Also, by the time Oblivion is released, the current generation of advanced hardware will be much more affordable. It should be able to run it smoothly, even at higher settings.
