average 30 FPS is really a good framerate for most of us. This ioption was created to avoid possibly graphical problems with high framerate.
Said so: There is an ini and the documentation is provided and actually well written. Every option is configurable even if some default setting are not the best(even for stability)

Hi. It doesn't work for me. I have a retail version of Oblivion, with graphics mods. I'm was at 20 fps without the Stutter Remover. Then I installed it, launch with obseloader.exe but I'm stuck at 20 fps. So it seems to do nothing for me.
Also, I tried to change the ini file like the usual changes in the description. But it has no effect.

Do you have any soution please ? :'(

Hi! I would like to ask for help setting the ini up correctly.
I have many mods installed - quite a few graphics related ones (BBC, ULC, QTP, RAEVWD if i can get it working, AWLS and others).
I also use Maskaro's Overhaul, which relies on OBSE heavily as i understood.
The hardware is fine, 8 AMD cores at 4ghz, 16gb sys ram, and 4gb on a 770 gtx.
Any hints regarding ini would be appreciated!
I was wondering what i could change (and to about what value) from default because of highish system specs, and if i might reduce CTDs (if there is any related to OSR and OBSE scripts Maskaro's overhaul relies on). I would like to get it work as stable as possible, some lag i can tolerate easily.
Cheers!

In response to post #19714284.

Try enabling the experimental section and setting the iThreads fixed to CPU higher, I'd not go above 4, but I don't know exactly how itt works.
Also, set the Spin setting to something like 2500 or so. AAnd...USE ENBoost. If you got 4GiB of Vram and 16 of Ram, I think this will help.

Also, when do these CtDs occur? It is nothing, and I say NOTHING related to OBSE or MOO. They are both super stable.

Yes. But outside, the average is 20. Maximum in game 35 maybe, in an inn or something. 100+ fps in menu.

Ok, so there's no fps cap.
You could try disabling the bManageFPS section in the Main of the ini file.

Thanks for your help!
I tried these changes and downloaded ENBoost. CTDs seem quite random - some might be related to NPC actions (death, quest status changes), some just happen at any random time. Also i get slowdowns and after a while CTD looking in certain directions - might be related to 9 grids to load as well..? Or Unique Landscapes..?
Im happy its not Moo - would have been a problem getting back to OOO now.

If you get slowdowns and such, it's just the amount of objects. For such, ENboost.
Also, you might try setting the buffer values lower, or optimising your Oblivion assets. But I think explaining this in this section here wouldn't fit the purpose, send me a PM instead.
