Ok, so i've got this quest to do in Gnisis, to go see Abishpulu Shand and collect five units of muck from his muckspunge patch near his hut. But there's a problem here. I talk to the guy, and he says, "Oh, go ahead and take it! There's a bunch sitting out in front of my door, large white orbs that resemble pots. Help yourself!"

Now, I find his hut, right there in Gnisis, with two muck shovels but NO MUCK. And no one in town has any muck! I've tried to use the shovels to dig up my own (they're in my inventory, but I can't activate them like a lockpick), and I don't see any large white orbs that resemble pots in front of anyone's door in Gnisis.

Has anyone done this quest? Any hints or pointers? Is there another Shand Hut outside of town somewhere?

there's a big loadda mucksponge just to the left of the silt strider when u enter town. it doesnt resemble pots really thats just another notorious vague in game description. theyre basically big, oval, wierd lookin white things with brown spots on em. more like the shape of urns than pots.

Also a load round the back of his house (sorta between the house and the cliff/hill thinghy)
