[Spoilers] 'Death Incarnate' Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary Crash

I think I put this in the wrong place before..

 

OK, so I killed the "emperor" and went to the sanctuary to defend it, but EVERY TIME that I try to go in the game crashes. It works if I COC directly in BEFORE acquiring the Death Incarnate quest to go in, but as soon as I have the mission to go into the sanctuary it crashes every time. In my searching for answers I found that others have had this issue, but I have not found a fix that works for me.

Things I have tried

1: COC in instead of using the door

2: turn game to low graphics at 720p, with all mods disabled and 2k textures lite un-installed

3: with #2 done, coc to an interior cell (I used solitudeblacksmith) then coc darkbrotherhoodsanctuary, with this it does a loading loop instead of crashing.

Hmmm. Try disabling the "Save on travel" setting under your settings, then see if you van enter the sanctuary cell without crashing.

I think I had to do that with something in the past.. Its been so long I totally forgot about it, thanks, I will give it a shot and let you know what happens.

 

Edit: Nope, that doesn't fix it.

I know this is an old thread, but I just wanted to say that I have this issue also. I get a CTD after killing the two foes and just starting to enter either of the two doorways. I've tried everything including ENBoost. Has anyone found a solution?
