Well, GTA is now one of the best-selling games in history, but the transition to 3d was inevitable. They just happened to pull it off very smoothly. :)

Sometimes lag causes people to post twice. I would remove it but, apparently, I don't have mod powers for the Oblivion forums. :/

How come the topic's already got so far from Oblivion?

Anyway, I hope the game world isn't tied too tightly to the title - don't get me wrong, a TES IV based oblivion world could be quite ... interesting, and fun to play, I just mean that I hope it will have a more real-world landscape as well, like Vardenfell is. Not that I expect anything else... B)

I want to see some new realistic landscape, from the screenshots I've seen it looks beautiful! I hope you won't have to stay long in hell because in some reviews it mentions you must got to hell to prevent demons entering the world of Tamriel. I hated the Ashlands and the Red mountain region so I'll most likely hate hell. I hope they make a better combat engine, hope that'll be their priority.

Yes combat is going to be important, it is the basis of the gameplay. However I hope they add more political stuff to, and being the leader somwhere actually means somthing. And there shoud be real skill leveling, leveling up and down like in lineage2. And by real skill I mean there should be a way to do good and to do bad, so if you can't fight good or you suck at puzzels you dont level up in those areas. And dare I say there should be..................... limited.........
MULTIPLAYER
Like up to five max dudes can go coop into the game. I know the problem this makes is what if your half way through the game and somone wants to join? or somone drops out? it would be hard to balance the game right? but this is my idea for how it could work;
When you start the game you have your own island cut off from the rest of the world, you thenm travel to the world to your server, and when you are done you can travel back to your island taking back things with you stashing your stuff building up your place or up grading to a new island. the world should not allow for the perminent deaths of any important npcs so you can go to any server and continue your game, or make your own server and lock it so you and your freands can play all the way through with out ever changing servers.

They have already stated that there will not be multiplayer.

And I'm glad for that, think about this; people that runs around yelling:
"Selling glassdagger, only 2k!!!!!!!"
Or:
"Please, I'm a noob, can someone give me some free muck?"

... It gives me creeps :wacko:
