ATE 181

This is the ENB present I am using and I would like to share it to the community here at Nexus. Its a rather heavy setting that are focusing mostly on immersion.

In response to post #9174179.

Hello Room207. I will try to explain, but I should be the last person to to do a step by step tutorial :)

1. Download the zip that you can find under "files" here. Its called the "ATE 181".
2. Exctract the files in "00" to where you have Oblivion installed. The files from "00" must be were you have "Oblivion.exe" and "OblivionLauncher". I have them for exampel in X:\steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion.
3. Download the core of ENB from here http://www.enbdev.com/download_mod_tesoblivion.htm You should download v0.181. It is the latest version.
4. In that zip you find "Wrapperversion" and "injectorversion". The "injectorversion" is for integreated graphic cards and laptops and I dont know how to use that version because I am using the "Wrapperversion".
5. In the "WrapperVersion" you will find a file called "d3d9.dll". Extract it to the same folder were you have "Oblivion.exe" and "OblivionLauncher".
6. Now this ENB setting is installed.

Optional
7.Programs such as MSI Afterburner, EVegaPrecsion must set Oblivion on their list of programs that should be ignored. If you cant make the programs ignore Oblivion its best to uninstall them.
8. ENB dosent work with OBGE what I have understood.

If this step by step dosent work please give me a PM or write here so can we try to solve the issue :)

These are nice settings! Makes me want to learn how to get ENB running on my setup. I heard it doesn't work with OBGE but I can't give up Liquid Water just yet. :pinch:

Hey nice mod, but it doesn't works on my setup.
I noticed that when I start Oblivion (launcher) my graphics adapter is displayed as Nvidia GeForce 9600GT but I have a HD7970 in my setup.

I think that's why it isn't working right now, so my question is how to fix it?

In response to post #9184784.

Hello Animal, thank you for your kind words :)

I do believe OBGE dosent work with ENB. I do believe that Boris, the author of the ENB series, is not found of the shader work of the OBGE so you have to sadly choice. And I must ofc say that pick my setting and a a nice water mod ;)

In response to post #9185872.

Hi Podest41. I do believe Ive found the issue.
If you open up the enbseries.txt file (should be 5 kb) with notepad you will see:

[GLOBAL]
AdditionalConfigFile=
UseEffect=true
ForceNVidiaCard=true
ForceNVidiaCaps=false

You have a AMD card so I would suggest that you change the setting to:

[GLOBAL]
AdditionalConfigFile=
UseEffect=true
ForceNVidiaCard=false
ForceNVidiaCaps=false

Hope it works for you and please contact me here or through PM if it dosent :)

In response to post #9185872. #9186388, #9187072 are all replies on the same post.

Ok it works almost correct.
I was looking for that option to but I couldn't find it. I thought it should have been in Oblivion.ini, so thanks for that.

Nevertheless there is a problem with your config, the depth of field doesn't work properly, so I had to disable that.
Maybe it's because of my graphics card, I couldn't try it but I'll do that almost immediately and post back the result.

Thx astrob0y

@Edit:
Ok, I tried the preset on my notebook (Nvidia GTX660M graphics) and it works fine, so I suppose the Dof will not work on AMD graphics but otherwise it's great.

@astrob0y
Thanks for the Dof advices for Radeon users. It would be great if you could add the Radeon problem to your description (if you haven't already) it could/would avoid much confusion for users like myself.
