Im at the point where I have to secure the bridge but everyone is staying at the 3 teleporters leaving the far left teleporter unpowered

Aren't they supposed to stay there? They don't show up until you actually get to the bridge and kill the alien captain, IIRC.

Its suppost to stay like that, you need to use the far left tele(well you can use both) and find the tele to living quarters, then there will be a tele to bridge

Im trapped at the point where all the aliens on the bridge are dead, but it still wants me to secure the bridge

What you need to do, is find the death ray, activate it, don't fire, but press the activator a couple of times, then find all the coolants, and then activate the coolants so the go down.
