I want to make a mod which add some companions which can die when they follow you so they don't become unconsious. is this possible?

1. Companions can only die when you're in Hardcore Mode (though this can be worked around with scripting).

2. When Hardcore Mode is enabled, companions can permanently die as long as they are not marked as essential.
