I then ordered it off Ebay (I hope this ain't advertising).

Since anyone who knows enough about the internet to post here has heard of ebay, not it's not advertising. Advertising would be posting links to your own sales, mods, forums, etc.

I got it way back in March to keep me busy until Fable, which at that time was (rumored to be) scheduled for release in late May. Of course this didn't happen so my Morrowind experience was prolonged to about five months total. Then I got Fable and beat it about five times in the one month I actually played it :(. I got REALLY bored of Halo 2 about two weeks ago and picked up Morrowind again for, like, two hours <_<... Guess I forgot how long and arduous the game was.

And no. You guys probably will be relieved to know I just came in to visit, and check out the new format of the site. Goodbye.

one of my friends had a copy and showed it to me and I was hooked (even thou I'm not that much of a fantasy fan). Since I love to build and modify things ( built my own computer without any prior knowlege of how to build one) morrowind was perfect for me. I played it 3 months solid whenever I could and then I found some of the mod websites and cheered! I have done some small mods ( I cant do what I want because I cant afford 3dstudiomax) but these always turned into uber-items
so I never had any intentions of uploading them onto here ( made the game boring after a while).

i played morrowind at a friends a few months prior to bloodmoon's release. when i finally got it myself I explored and layed miccelaneous quests for weeks. Then at around level 30 i added solstheim to my game and explored that as well, beating its main quest, then tribunals and at long last began morrowinds at level 30 somthin. So I orignally bought the game because the idea of open-ended exploration of a fictional land, and didn't get sucked into the actual storyline until weeks later.

I was at my uncles internet cafe, (yes, it is sweet. Awesome computers and games for a shop in china) and my bro was randomly playing games cuz he got bored of WC3, Counterstrike, and the supposed half-life 2(which was really hl1, but hey, its china) So, i couldnt wait to get it. The next month, I was at best buy. I comepletely forgot about Morrowind cuz i was hooked to Metroid Prime 1. I rarely go to best buy,or circuit city, or w/e, so i was randomly looking at games i've never heard about just to buy something that i may like. Then, i met with my long last love! Morrowing baby! Uber wootserz.

I had a deposit a EB (Electronic Boutiuq) for the original version but hence they were all sold out except for one game of the year versions. Most of my deposit was already paid plus it was already 25% off so i paid about 16 dollars for my copy :P and 9 dollars for a spidey game.

For a long time UltimaIX Ascension was my favorite game. On a U9 forum at a website called the Wayward Avatar some of the regulars there were making a lot of noise about this game called Morrowind.
They were talking about how big the game is and how much there is to do and how open-ended the game is. So, I looked around on the internet for more info on the game and was impressed by what I saw. I bought the game and have been playing for about a week now and this game just might be my new favorite.

for me the reason i bought it was kinda out of boringness, iam always looking for cool games (especially RPG's).
so i went to the store with some spare money, and i found morrowind, was looking a little and thought this might be something. and so i bought it...
after installing and stuff i started -wow really?- and pressed new game -gotta be shittin me- some nice intro about some prophecy came up and i ended up in a prisoners boat.
i walked the walk (making my char) and the dudes said somethign about going to sum guy in bal-something... i freaked!
i thought this was a FREE game, and i pressed the damn exit button and beggan with my good 'ole diablo 2 lod again.

-2 months later-

my friend was playing the game, as he opened his inventory i saw cool items and cool things and all kinds of stuff, he was talking over and over about the adventures he made and those who had yet to be made.
but when i saw u could create ur own weapons and stuff i actually freaked...again!
i said that i gtg and smacked up something about i had to help mom with the flowers and installed it again and began playing, and now we are here STILL PLAYING, and iam not planning to stop since i got to amuse myself until oblivion.

well that's about my story

Bought it as I liked it after playing it at a friends house. Ended up buying the set (Morrowind, Bloodmoon, Tribunal) after chirstmas, and then got all three from seperate friends.
