if your budget is $200 why are you looking at 7750s? those are not good cards
Because the 270X and 7950 are dual-slot cards and he needs a single-slot low-profile card whose cooler doesn't exceed the height of the front metal cover, otherwise the card won't be able to fit into the case due to having a miniature slimline case with a micro-ATX or mini-ITX mobo and about 220-250W PSU. In that regard, 7750 is the best performing card he can get. Please do some research and actually read the thread prior to posting.
And why exactly is "low profile" so hard to understand? Back in the thread Thor posted a link of, everyone forgot that little detail until I described the difference between cards a few times and then posted pictures of the case showing that nothing other than a low profile will fit. Low profile is not "just a single-slot card", it's a card with a low-profile cooler which is slim compared to standard GPU coolers. Examples:
Low-profile:
Standard-size single-slot:
Dual-slot:
How can anyone mix them up?
@888mikem888 PSU power rating, RAM frequency, motherboard model and some pics of the case's insides would help. It's possible (though highly unlikely) that you can fit a bigger card inside. Another possibility is replacing the APU with a newer model (like A10 6600K, if the motherboard and PSU can take a 100W CPU, and if your RAM is fast enough) which performs about the same as 7750 and can be crossfired with one for greater performance.
