Since upgrading to a new computer, I have been having a really annoying problem that apparently is never going to be fixed by Microsoft.... I like to play my games offline since i like to keep myself from constantly going only for every small little thing. But it's really annoying when I start Oblivion only for nothing to happen while the run32dll.exe or whatever eats up half my computer's resources searching online for updates it's never going to find. I have disabled things in Game Explorer, but that didn't do anything to stop this. It wouldn't be so bad if it did this once every 3 or 6 months, but it ends up doing this again just a couple days after I let it on the internet to search for whatever... The only real solution seems to be to just rename the exe, and it works normally again..... except without obse.

 

Anyway to have obse look for a renamed Oblivion.exe or is that something out of the question?
