It didn't "die" out, it was forced off the net by cheatman. The site itself was only growing, and doing extremely well. I just felt I had to say something because of my former staff member saying things on your forum.
Ok...it still died irrespective of the unfortunate circumstances in which it died. These things do happen when you don't go through a respectable and well-known registrar. We've cut out the problem by purchasing our own TAG for .co.uk domains (we are our own registar) and purchasing an eNom reseller account.
...And so long as my point stands, your primary reason for the TLD change is not because .net is more technically sound, but rather, that .net would allow you to hide your nationality in a much more effective way than .co.uk ever could.
Hide my nationality not out of shame or the realisation that people may not like the British, but in the realisation that if people see ".co.uk" they may think we're UK selective, which we're not. Of course, you knew this from the beginning, you're just being the normal Marxist Bastard we all love to hate.
