Proxyhayden, problem is, there is no such mod for UPK Patcher. I made my own version of this mod for XCOM Interface and Gameplay Tweaks, as this one is incompatible with some of the other tweaks (and wasn't updated for patch 3). UPK Patcher version is called "No Sleeveless Armor" and can be downloaded from "XCOM Interface and Gameplay Tweaks" downloads page. To see changes immediatelly, you have to load strategy game save, not tactical game save. If you're using tactical game save, you will see changes upon returning to base.

Oh, I didn't know you'd made a UPK Patcher version already. If it's better compatible, maybe I should just direct people there.

That worked out perfectly. Thank you very much, wghost!

Peasly Wellbott, yes, I've noticed incompatibility between your version and XP display (both in battle and in barracks). It can be seen on Interface Tweaks screen-shots: rank symbol is not "gene-modded" for gene-modded soldiers. When I looked into this problem, I decided to go another way entirely: change MapSoldierToPawn function and make it return regular armor codes instead of sleeveless armor codes. I don't know if this gives different deco option than your version or has some other differences, but it still does the job.

Mentioned it here some time ago.

Hello people and thanks for the update !

Although I got problems with the recently added version of this mod. I used wghost patcher with the according file and it says that the mod was applied sucessfully but there is no change in game, the gene soldier still remains with their damn ugly sleeveless armor ;<

raenor56, you won't see changes upon returning to base if you're using tactical save.

raenor56, do you have Steam (and XCOM) installed to Program Files? If so, no mods will work, as system will revert all the changes back.

In response to post #13889008.

It is the case, though i tried one of your mod to check what you said: No Sleeveless Armor. It works great, but the downside is that you can't have any decoration associated with vanilla armors, which was the case in this mod.

raenor56, read this wiki article about Steam and mods:
http://wiki.tesnexus.../Steam_and_mods
And this one explains about Program Files folder:
