In my opinion, this new concept, "outfit," is redundant and damages the game.

All the things that the "outfit" is used for were previously done in the inventory with leveled lists. Now they're using leveled lists for outfits.

Skyrim no longer uses the repair system for armor and weapons: it uses the new "upgrade" system. Bethesda used to equip your enemies with weapons and armor that were typically at the 10% repair level; but you could override this by setting those items at a higher percentage. With the upgrade system there is no provision for giving higher upgraded weapons and armor to any NPC except through the inventory system after they have been upgraded. There is no way that these items can be introduced through the "outfit" system.

In the CK, which uses the concept "wear best armor," nonupgraded armor is integrated with upgraded armor: This is not the case ingame; there is great interference between the outfit and the inventory.

What do you think?
