I've been thinking... why is there no snakes in The Elder Scrolls? There's spiders, of course... and other bugs like bees and butterflies, but no snakes. The statues of Talos in Skyrim are depicted as him slaying a snake. Did he kill off all the snakes? If anyone has a mod out there that adds snakes the the gameworld of Oblivion, I'd be very thankful.

There's a mod called BT More Enemies which adds snakes to the game among other new creatures like scorpions or worms.

I think it could be something to do with animations. Maybe Bethesda never figured out how to animate snakes?
