Ok all heres the final update to the story/quest line iv been working on, all comments welcome and any and all weapons skin, and armor skin idea's are all welcome

Daughters of Ares

part 1

After you wake up in doc Mitchell's house, Finding out that you had been shot in the head, luckly the doc knows some thing about cybernetic
and was able to repair to a small extent and re-boot your systems and get you back on your feet.
you find a small note addressed to the doc giving him details on how to repair you and get you back on your feet, as you read the note
you find that its from an unnone person and they havent signed the note, but it tells you to go to the Repconn Headquarters and to the
Aerotech officers for look for part that you may need to repair the main systems. ( At this point its moves into 2 seprate quests)

part 2a
Repconn Headquarters

Upon getting close enough to the Repconn headquaters building a message comes over your PipBoy that only you can understand as its is in your
binery code,

The message says that inside is a note with insturctions on how to repair and upgrade your systems, also notes with experimental equipment
desinged for use with the Ares body but doesnt go into detail about them.

Making your way through all the floors all the way to the top floor in a small safe you find a small file marked Ares Project and inside there
are details on what looks to be a prototype set of armor and weapons designed only to work with the ares system.( upon unlocking the safe with the key
on a diffrent floor(you choose the floor) 2 DoA security androids start to attack you) Also in this file/holotape are hints on a hidden location to where
the prototype equipment could be held.

part 2b
Allied Technologies offices

Again upon reaching the Allied Tech Officers you recieve the same type of message as you did when you reached the repconn headquarters, you realise that there
is likley to be further information inside. When you enter the main building you see some more of the Ares security models although they seem to be in-active at this time,
while searching the building for information you come across a holotape named Proto-type Ares model(what ever model you have given the mod) on this holotape
that appears to be by a Dr Horace Pinkerton, it details how this model can be used to save a human and have all that persons memory and emotions placed inside this body
it also details how this can be done, at the end of this holotape it details that a copy of this should be sent to a person named Robert Edwin House as he is the person
responsable for all the funding of the project, In the main office you find a safe that you can crack open, in this safe you find a weapon and ammo for it( you choose this
this is just an extra) and some more notes about you and the last hint to a hidden lab were it looks like Pinkerton was doing some of the work and also hints that the
proto-type equipment is a set of armor and weapons made for the Ares model android (namely you)

Part 3
Un-none Location
(ok this part is what follows after parts 2a and 2b have been completed location i need help on)
you reach the location that the notes have hinted at, it looks like a long closed cybernetics lab of some sort. It appears to be without power at the moment,
when you enter the main door the power kicks in but also the security systems start up, you need to find the security office to shut the security systems off so that you can
have a good look around so you can find out what was going on here and what this place is to you and your creation, when you get to the security office inside you find
a protectron that you most terminate so that you can get to the computer terminal to shut everything else down, after you have shut everything down you find yourself
walking down some steps and into a small office with what appears to be a door at the far end.
When you enter this door you find a small cybernetics lab with a few incomplete Ares model droids and parts laying about. at the far end of this room is a table that
appears to be what Pinkerton has been working from also in this room there is a Doc orderly robot thats recoiser you as soon as you entered the room. on the desk
you find information on how to build the ares model droids and they appear to be from a Dr zimmer from somewhere in the commonwealth (massachstts).
Also there is a location of were you were finaly built and the location of the proto-type equipment that was made for you. This then takes you to vault 21
and gives you the passcode to get into the safe storage were all the equipment is safe from any one else getting it.

This ends the quest and gives you the player home in vault 21 that i think some one is working on
Also give you 1 set of Ares Power armor and energy weapons that can be used with your upgrades of your processing power motherboard ect
( weapons and armor to be worked out)

was thinking this Mod http://www.nexusmods...78&user=1&pUp=1 could be altered to work Part 3, would just need a location to have it, Then add the hints to parts 2a and 2b

In response to post #10414260. #10418382 is also a reply to the same post.

buu....no Fallout 4. Was a really good hoax though. Kinda lame that Bethesda used the hype around it to offload a lot of unsold Fallout merch at jacked-up prices though.

I've noticed that everyone has been talking about the hardware, but we've skipped over the software. What about Operating Systems Upgrades. This could affect the luck stat because luck affects all skills and critical chance, just like the OS affects all aspects of a computer.

Basic

Description: 16-bit OS, -1 Luck

Model name: A.R.E.S. model auxiliary OS

Requirements: Basic Components

Upgrade 1

Description: 32-bit OS

Model Name: A.R.E.S. prototype Operating System

Requirements: RAM update 1, Hard drive update 1

Upgrade 2

Description: 64-bit OS, +1 Luck

Model Name: A.R.E.S. standard OS 1.1

Requirements: RAM update 2, Hard drive update 1

Upgrade 3

Description: 128-bit OS +2 Luck

Model Name: A.R.E.S. 2.1 Performance OS

Requirements: RAM update 3, Hard drive update 2

Hidden Upgrade

Description: 512-bit OS

Model Name: The Platinum Chip

Requirements: 100 Science, 100 Repair (needed to modify the Platinum Chip and/or you body to accept the upgrade), all other                               hardware upgrades

I'll leave exactly what the Platinum Chip does for you to decide

It's simething like that, but not that requirement. Instead, each software have a size in MB and RAM consuption. I'm leaving it for now to focus on the hardware, but i'll make the main Os and a few more applications to use. The requirements will be in the HD free space, RAM and Processor. If the hardware is simple, the bonus is weak and slow. Once I finish the hardware i'll think more about it. :) Thank you!

I have a few ideas for this mod if you are able. This android race is really cool by the way, I was just wonder for the body type, meshes and textures of this mod could you add an interchange body parts (such as changeable torso, hands, feet, or waist plates) that vary from different body types like from Type 3M to BNB or add weapons that only go with this race like arm guns to blade arms for upgrades, and the body types can only be change at docking stations, (maybe ask the creator who made HIVE for Fallout NV add this to the player home). Also maybe create a pet companion for this as well.
BNB works almost well with this mod, the textures still works for the clothing part, it just looks like she has tattoos all over her body instead of exposing robot parts, almost looks human.

Weapon arms would be easy enough. There's already such weapons available at the Nexus. It's probably easier to use armours to create the effect you're suggesting for the body meshes though. The Wolverine Perk Mod adds suitable claws for an ARES, and the selfhealing adds a bit of immersion in that you don't have to heal by eating or using stimpacks. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/36259

i remember a mod in fallout 3 where you could play some android with a laser cannon instead of his arm, but i cant remember the name of it... that would be so cool for ares...

I think you might be refering to the Arm Mounted Weapons mod by rjtwins that he made for Fallout 3. SmileyTops included them in his ST Robot Race mod as well, so I've tried them out with DoT. But those weapons don't look very good on the ARES to be honest. I think rjtwins intended them to be used with power armour as he went for a clunky, mechanical, look. Perhaps a better fit would be the REFLEX Cannons mod by Eiries. The glow on the weapon matches up well with the ARES glowmap. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/39265/
