If I am remembering right, the tent gets rid of anything that you put in it. I was very sad to loose some of my best weapons and go to an earlier save game.

There is a mod on Morrowind Summit that has crates that you can actually carry and they are a set weight, but you can put your stuff in them then pick them up and put in your inventory. I'm not sure if adding stuff to them adds weight to them though. I'll try to find the name of it.

Also an enchanted Ring that fortifies strength attribute will allow you to carry more.
And it is easily made in the editor if you want a super cheat. . if you feel guilty about giving yourself an item just make a badass hostile NPC you have to kill and put it in his or her inventory. or you can go all out and make a quest and dungeons

But I like the idea of a bag of holding.

hmmm... a clunky way to do it would be to have a crate hidden 'floating' (about 10000 miles up....) so noone can EVER reach it, and then a 'talisman' of some sort... activating it (by dragging it to your character) would open the container for remote access... for those who feel it is unbalancing, attach a magicka penalty for the items. Past that, you have a sort of 'bag of holding'... a very clunky one though. It could be done...

(Now where's a sophisticated modder when you need one...)

or you could take the approach used by Tome of Anceint Knowledge. It was a book for wizards which let you 'spellmake' on your own. You select it from the ground and get a dialog box which would ask if you wanted to create spells or pick the book up. A bag could use the same type of principle in a script for a normal bag and use that as a bag of holding... sadly, calculating the weight reduction would be a difficult thing to script. (says the one who can't script at all)

And i would DEFINITELY be interested in knowing if someone wanted to make such a mod... (hint-hint!)

Has anyone considered 'backpacks' of holding? It could just expand your inventory as a whole...

I just a made a cheasy bag of holding. It's actually a converted ring and feather enchantment and doesn't hold inventory, but if you use your imagination it sorta does the trick.

What I did was i went to clothing and opened a ring, any ring. I used a ring because you can equip two of them, alowing you to still equip at least one ring, you can use a belt or amulet. Changed the ID to Bag_Holding and the name to Bag of Holding. Then I clicked save.

Next I created an enchantment, (right click, new) of constant effect, feather, magnitude 100. You can use any magnitude you feel is right. saved it as Bag_Hold_en

Went back to clothing, opened up Bag_holding, changed the Model to
o\ Contain_Com_Sack_02.NIF
and then selected the enchantment Bag_hold_en
Set the weight and money value to what I felt was right
And saved.

All that was left was to make a new icon. I used Ulead PhotoImpact, but any program that can edit or create a 32x32 tga file will do. saved it to the icon directory. Mine looks like a trash bag LOL Opened the editor up and assigned the icon to my new object and all that was left was to place it somewhere. Or use the console's player->additem

use it just like a ring, when equiped you can carry more.

A more efficiant way is to make the icon first, enchantment, then the item, I just always overcomplicate things. which reminds me you must have the constuction set CD to change the Model over. -Kevin
