When I used the setting you used in the exporter and then when I made it and put it in the CK, the CK crashed.

I don't directly use the exported nif, i open it in NifSkope, open the vanilla bow i used as reference and replace it with my new NiTriShapeData and NiSkinInstance...maybe not the fastest method but when i only replace these two blocks i'm 100% sure that the rest of the nif is not messed up - i record a video or send you the fixed file later, busy atm.

Btw I think I use your method of getting a vanilla bow then using the exported version and switching the nodes already.

Well, here is the bow i used in the video, as you've seen it works fore sure - if no then i have no clue what you're doing different. Weighting might be not 100% perfect but better than nothing i guess ![]()
String is from vanilla bow, so are the textures...of course you have to adjust the texture paths of the bow itself yourself to match your custom textures.
