Hi. I have question. Does BYOH mod work on higher version than 1.6? I have Legendary Edition and I can't build anything because I "don't have materials".

Sure it works for versions higher than 1.6 ^^

"You don't have materials" simply means that you don't have the required amount of firewood/iron ingots/steel ingots/whatnot in your inventory. Check the books located in the small shack up by the river ("Lucky's Journal" and another one) to check on how much you need of which material.
