Yeah, v1 works without OBSE but doesn't look anywhere near as good. Blockhead is the technical foundation this whole mod is built on top of and it's not possible to run without it.

I dont suppose you know how to get OBSE working properly with GOTY edition of Oblivion?

I use the GOTY but mine is a disc version, though it should work just fine with Steam too. Google up on whether others have had the same problem?

Just install it as you normally would, but run the Steam executable when you load the game, not the OBSE one.

Are you by any chance running a non-English copy of Oblivion? The mod only works for an English one.
