I haven't downloaded any of those things. I think i just have the standard oblivion. And it is in the fort on western slart. It is that portal you have to go through to kill the leader of the guy with the weird armour there.

I haven't reached that stage yet (I can't figure out what to do after the reinforcements arrive).

Anyway, BOSS will be the easiest way to get your load order. Download the tool then follow the installation and usage instructions. When Notepad opens with the changes BOSS made to your load order, save the text file somewhere where you'll know where to find it. Then check if the problem is still there (your mods' load order has been fixed so the problem might now be gone).

If the problem is still there, open the saved text file then copy-paste that text into your next post and we will see what to do from there.

Did you properly install BOSS (extract all the files you downloaded into your Oblivion/Data directory).

Also, make sure you downloaded "BOSS 1dot3 22 April 09".

Okay it's all in my data file but i have no idea what to do next. Does it auto-matically re-order my load?

You have to double-click on BOSS.bat (not BOSS.exe) before your load order can be rearranged. Also, here is a reminder of some previous instructions I gave:

When Notepad opens with the changes BOSS made to your load order, save the text file somewhere where you'll know where to find it. Then check if the problem is still there (your mods' load order has been fixed so the problem might now be gone).

If the problem is still there, open the saved text file then copy-paste that text into your next post and we will see what to do from there.

It is all set up but the problem persists. It's not the load order.

<sigh> Please paste the contents of the BOSS into your next post. The last 8 posts have been dedicated to getting your load order.

Getting a load order list from OBMM

Of course you have to be running OBMM first to do this.

On the right, click on the box that says Import/Export

Select the top entry on the drop down list, View Load Order

Your load order will be displayed. Note that any inactive mods will not show in the list.

On the top left, click in the disk icon – a save box will pop up.

First you need to tell it where to save your list – the desktop is a good place and easy to find.

Next, go down to the second block at the bottom to select the save as type:
Pick Plain Text (*.Txt)

Now, in the File name block type in a name, such as Load List-1

Copy and paste the load order directly into to your post.

If you want to keep a copy for your own use, make a text file and past the same list into it.

Then 'save as' and give it a name that you will remember, such as Load list-1.txt

Be sure to manually input that you are using OBMM and if you are using them, OBSE and Wrye Bash as they are not really mods, but utility programs and will not show in the list.

BOSS is another utility, also used outside of the game. If you are using BOSS, you will need OBMM also as any mod not recognized by BOSS will be placed at the end of the load order. OBMM will allow manual placing of mods in the load order.
