Well, it would be a much funnier quest. Why does the Fighters Guild send three guys out to a goblin infested hole without weapons? Where's the logic in that? What are they supposed to use, harsh language?
Why are the blades worse equipped than most bandits?

Cause they ate their BRAINS...
In the world of Nirn, Gold is weightless, and a non-newtonian particle... hence, you can carry as much of it as you want, and be carrying none of it at the same time.
Martin put magic on the sewer grate back in his deadric magic days.
They can summon a small crowd at the arena because it's a CROWD, for WATCHING, not an ARMY which is for ATTACKING!
Why exactly ARE bretons 50% immune to magic?
What WOULD a slaughterfish be doing with 3 gold coins?
Why does a scamp need a spoon?
Why would I need a spoon?
Why does everyone need ME to do things? Isn't there any OTHER adventurers in Cyrodiil?
Have you heard that deadra worship is becoming increasingly prevalent in the Somerset Isles?

"Why exactly ARE bretons 50% immune to magic?"
50% is a much cleaner number compared to 40% or 60%
"What WOULD a slaughterfish be doing with 3 gold coins?"
They swallowed some of the coins that the damn tourists kept throwing into the lake
"Why does a scamp need a spoon?"
Maybe they eat when you aren't looking.
"Why would I need a spoon?"
Have you seen your character eat something? Then, how do you know they don't use a spoon when they eat?
"Why does everyone need ME to do things? Isn't there any OTHER adventurers in Cyrodiil?"
Again, how do you know that they aren't? They wouldn't tell you every aspect of their problems, especially if someone else already helped them.
"Have you heard that deadra worship is becoming increasingly prevalent in the Somerset Isles?"
Actually, no.

Where are the summoned monsters summoned from?
Some believe that the creatures obtained through summoning are created by the summons, through the binding force of magicka as it solidifies into the creatures we wished to have. others believe that the magicka we use calls to an existing creature who has no choice but to protect us, no matter the cost. This, however, leads to some speculation. If there was a cat (possibly added by the cats and rats mod) that a wizard summoned, would that alley cat outside be called suddenly? Would it vanish from it's present place in order to become your servant?
neither of these are correct, as in fact there is another place where hordes and hordes of summonable creatures sit and wait for the correct application of magicka to call directly on them. what they do here is not known, but perhaps they go about their business like any other being, even mundane occurences. Calling a Daedra while his pants are down? Priceless. For everything else, there's Hammerspace
ahem, why is it that the imperial city, for all its being ayleid, does not have an underground section like those of the other cities?
Why are all imps male?
Why are all spriggans female?
Where are the female minotaurs?
Why are there only so many styles of hair in oblivion?
where are the looms?
Why is nobody learning from the dwemer, when they are from the ayleids?
why are siltstriders confined to Morrowind?
Where are the horses in Morrowind?
why is there an invisible barrier around all of Cyrodiil?
Why does nobody write new books?
Where oh where are the courts!?

Why are all imps male?
The female mutated to spriggans.
Why are all spriggans female?
The male mutated to imps.
Where are the female minotaurs?
There all dead, their head hanging on the wall. For decorations.
Why are there only so many styles of hair in oblivion?
Trends of Medieval Age
where are the looms?
What is a loom ?
Why is nobody learning from the dwemer, when they are from the ayleids?
Because the dwemers is gone. They can be resurrected, by a thing named "mod".
why are siltstriders confined to Morrowind?
- Siltstriders can't swim out of Vvardenfell
- People of outer Morrowind afraid of heights
- The Invisible Borders prevent anything comes in or out of Morrowind
Where are the horses in Morrowind?
- Horses can't swim to Vvardenfell
- Horses mutated to Siltstriders because of the Blight
- No stables, no horses.
- The Invisible Borders prevent anything comes in or out of Morrowind
Why is there an invisible barrier around all of Cyrodiil?
For keeping illegal immigrants and tourist entering Cyrodiil.
Why does nobody write new books?
Because no printing press. With printing press, book writers can write faster. But because no printing press. They have to write the same book over and over.
Where oh where are the courts!?
The guard plays as judges. And keep the gold for their self.
