In response to post #10941107.

I feel you. I'd like the same animation mods and also being able to see weapons wielded.

As a temporary solution, I suggest setting Immersive FP to switch to Vanilla FP when wielding a weapon. You won't be looking at your feet a lot while in combat :)
If you combine this with a default profile with FOV of 70, you will almost not notice the camera changes.

Good luck!

I have my settings on more of a "True View" mainly for a 0.95 hight humanoid. (non-beast race, Non-elf race)

It is a bit long of a post because not meny things are at default so if any one wants to try them out PM me and I will send the list in that.

Edit: Suprizeingly it also works with walking/running animations that have a "reverse direction" walk/run.

where can I find the file that has the saved settings? cause I had to reinstall skyrim and I had to reinstall some mods and I want to use my old settings (note: I backed up my 'broken' skyrim so all the files and mods on the old skyrim are still there). if anyone knows, thanks.

EDIT: nevermind, found it

Guys I need a bit of help with getting the mod to use the vanilla first person camera during combat. Switching from the immersive camera to the vanilla one is ok but when I try to do it in reverse the camera twitches from right to the center. It's really weird.

Could really use some hand settings.  When using spells or melee weapons, the hands are only just visible from the wrist, makes combat feel very stunted.

I'm gonna be honest....this is freaking brilliant, seriously amazing.  But...with as much WORK, yes WORK that it takes to mod skyrim well, I just don't want to have this bad enough to go through and find the perfect alignment for every scenario.

Now, this mod "could" be tremendous, howevah, there needs to be an ini, and people need to be able to configure different types of setups for it.  It's a great idea for people to post presets here, but it's a tad tedious to write them down or howevah you wanna go about it to then copy it into the actual MCM.

So, yes, I think an ini would finish this mod off, and uploads of different settings for different types of characters, then customization would be so so much easier.  I think this is essential for the mod to become actually

used enough and popular enough for it to get the appreciation it deserves, because this is AMAZING work!!

I KNOW we all can appreciate how well done this mod is.  But I think there will be people like me who just don't want to take that much time and perfectly configure it.  The author TRULY did think of everything, but it just so happens that it's too much of everything for me to feel like doing it.  Presets and this'll be in business.

Guys if anyone has that weird issue when you set the Weapon Drawn to Vanilla FP and the camera twitches in a weird way when you unsheathe your weapon then read this. I figured out how to fix this for anybody that's interested. Apparently if you set the fade-in of the profile to 0 (the one you switch back to automatically from Vanilla FP) the camera stops the weird twitch/jerk motion. So now you can automatically switch between Vanilla FP combat and IFPV seamlessly. Thought I'd post this if anyone had similar problems. Cheers.

I'm trying to combine this with not just archery but the sniper bow pack. I am going to try your archery settings adjust and repost if I get something working. Really excited for the combination. 1st person is very immersive but having the vanilla bow setting is a little jarring. I did get the standing bow lined up perfectly but when in sneak the rectile changes and was way off.

After 3 hours of testing I don't think it will work. Don't get me wrong the mod itself is amazing, Also the Sniper Bows look great and seem to have good function. For the past three hours all I've done is stand and shoot at a target, tweak, shoot, tweak, shoot, tweak, shoot. I had the rectile on to help alinge the sights but I was trying to get a setting where I could rermove all HUD for true immersion. I have to say after just a short while I dont want to go back to vanilla 1st person. This mod is really that good at adding a live feel to the character.

Why it won't work as is (possibly for all bows, but only tested with the sniper version). There is a slight difference in perspective angle. In vanilla your two arms come out of the center of your chest making everything straight on and the view down the sight is the same whether in sneak or standing. In IFP one arm is on the left and one on the right (as it should be) also in sneak the camera moves forward just a bit enlarging the scope.

This slight difference in perspective and zoom changes things outside of the controls in MCM so no matter how well the bow is lined up standing it will be off in sneak or vice versa. I searched for a happy medium in settings to get a balance, there might be one there as there are multiple settings that will give a true shot in one or the other but with so many numbers to configure it could take years to find what setting is happy for both.

The solution I won't settle for is using the vanilla first person for bow aim. Even with the other tweaks in this thread you can get it to switch between cameras almost seamlessly. After the switch going into a super smooth vanilla aim is completely immersion breaking for me personally. In my opinion if its going to be so smooth and vanilla during combat and otherwise it mine as well stay that bland the rest of the time, otherwise every time I draw a bow I'm going to be thinking of how much better it could be if I could get the settings right.

A suggestion for an update to work around this problem (granted I don't really know what's possible and what isn't). Would be to add one more line in the MCM for "Bow Aim while Sneaking" or "Sneak Combat" or something to that effect. It was extremely easy to line up the bow standing or sneaking. If I could have seperate preferences for both then I wouldn't understand why there was a single post complaining about bows and this mod.

I'm going to keep plugging away at it though. As soon as I find a setting that works I'll be back to share and endorse.

THANK YOU and all the mod authors for all the hardwork and innovation.
