Phintias starting gold 1200, current gold 0, time since last visit 0.0

Just to make sure - this is just after having activated him, right (since it says time since last visit 0.0). If it was before having activated him, what happens if you wait 10 minutes or so (ingame) and list the data again?

D'jari, start 50 current 0.0, last visit 144.4 (was the only other suspicious looking one. Also, the waiting intervals I used had no effect on his gold amount, though Ive never visited this npc before.)

What this says, is that you last activated him 144.4 hours ago (ingame), and left him with 0 gold. Are you saying that this is not correct? If you save and then reload the game, this line is supposed to be completely removed (assuming you have a reset interval less than 144 hours).

If I hold down left shift Phintias' gold returns to normal. One odd thing I noticed though,
If I imediately enter console after reseting him it says time since last visit is .1 hours.
If I hit L it still says 0.0 hours. Not sure if that is anything or not, just reporting everything that looks suspicious.

This seems correct. The first console output (saying .1 hours) just tells that it is 0.1 hours since last activation, and this is just before the gold reset kicks in. If you then exit the dialog menu and hit L, the visit time has been updated with this last visit, and is therefore correctly 0.0 hours ago.

dallen68: The next time this happens, can you please open the console and report the debug info written by EE (I assume you use v. 2.1.2). I really need that in order to understand what's happening. And just to be sure - you're not also using Living Economy at the same time?

For Phintias, it is just after having activated him, correct. Im sorry, I only have one save from just before activating him, but since I found the one where he had 0 gold I have never been able to load that save and get him to have anything but something close to 1k gold.

As far as D'jari goes, its probable that I have activated him at some point. I just didnt remember him off the bat. He is probably a merchant in the Elsweyre mod. I guess my reset is higher than than 144. You mean cell reset right? I think mine is 5 days, so thats 120 hours. Most other merchants listed accept for phintias and thoronir (however you spell that name) are in the 140s for last visited. It may be a mod I have has effected it. I have it set in wrye bash for five days.

Anyways, thats about all I can say unless I can get the bug to repeat itself in phintias from my previous save. I have a feeling Im not going to get that to happen.

I haven't seen any bugs really with this mod, which is more then I can say for when I was using LE. I love how it does the haggling for me. The only weird thing I see is that it constantly is having output into my console window, is that normal? Maybe I'm just overly protective of that window. Really, this mod is how oblivion economy should have been at release.

Thanks for the endorcement and nice comments. As for the console output, since I have got a few reports of merchants having 0 barter gold, but not much debug report, I decided to turn debug on by default in the mod. But you can easily turn it off by opening 'Enhanced Economy.ini' and look for the line "set tnoEE.debug to 1", and switch to "set tnoEE.debug to 0".

The 0 gold bug seems to be so rare that I needed the debug on by default to have any chance of getting debug report from it, but I can easily see that it can be annoying if you use the console much.

Is a clean save necessary to update EE to the latest version? Thanks.

No. I generally do my best to avoid need for clean saves, and will write so explicitely if a clean save ever will be needed.

im sorry but i hate it and will never use it again, it dose not initialize properly, therefore i can not use it. i gave it a entire minute without even moving my character, it still said it did not initialize properly. this mod needs to be taken down and repaired.

Have it occured to you that with 5000 downloads (here and PES combined) and not a single such error report before yours, that the error may be on your end? I'll start with a simple check: Do you have OBSE 18b4 (or 18b5) installed and the game started from the OBSE loader?

I am normally very helpful in trying to find out why users have problems with my mods, but I usually expect people to act a tiny bit polite as well (and yes, that was a hint).

Its been awhile since Ive checked for updates to this mod, I noticed that you have added a ton of new features! It looks like this mod now does a lot of what LivingEconomy-Items does, so Im guessing this mod is no longer compatible with that one?

Im just making sure there isnt any reason to keep LE-Items around anymore.

That is correct. You can choose to keep LE-Items and instead disable the Local Economy features of EE if you prefer that, but EE's Local Economy feature works for all merchants and all items, also those added by other mods, so I would advice uninstalling LE-Items. :)
