In response to post #12191090.

Lol, I did make them rockets, though I generally just steer left and gas it to get them right side up again instead of flip car ;) but I guess I could do an alternate version with a bit less oomph :) might take me a while though, probably won't bother until I do a rebuild with integrated campsite

As a note about overpowered hummers, they are fast, but try driving them in manual, I find it drives much better when you can select the gear you want (1st for crawling and crowded areas, 2nd for average driving, and 3rd for getting across the wasteland). That being said, anyone wanting to release a modified esp is welcome, and there's only 3 lines in the script that affect those parameters, would be an easy intro to scripting :)

Mattell, could you by any chance make a secondary pickup or flatbed that could go up a hill?. its kinda ridiculous how weak the pickups are, and i actually haul stuff in the back of em, I guess this would fall under suggestions

I am planning on an upgrade to my replacer, funny how my cars get complaints about going airborne and emeso's barely get to speed going downhill :P .if you get tired of waiting on me try modifying it yourself, it's shockingly easy if you can open the geck....power, speed, and climb force are all clearly labeled in the associated scripts (not to mention you won't have to wait on me or move you'd stuff;) .(also if you want to go up hill always set the climb modifier to the max(3))

Well the new models are real nice. Very nice. I suppose I slightly prefer the dealership option over finding the cars, but either way, I don't really mind. I would say though, that there a million places to hide a vehicle in the wasteland, plenty of options.
Not really too keen on the summoning thing, player should know where they left it and go back there imo.

After a more extensive playthough with these cars I'll know how they react, BUT, my experience is that if you park a car, then drive off in a different car eventually (one or two save/load cycles) the vehicle returns to its starting point.  So knowing where you left it and actually finding it there isn't always possible.
Until now the only vehicle I have used that isn't "stock" XRE Cars is a pickup camper (don't bother looking, it isn't on the Nexus anymore... I got it before the author removed it to rework it) and it exhibits the same tendency.  I parked it in Novak, got in one of the cars there and went to Boulder City.  Saved the game/quit for the night... came back the next day and decided to go back for the vehicle and it wasn't in Novak, it was back where I got it (in Primm).  Just now fast traveled back to GoodSprings for another quest and the pickup I drove out of there with originally is back in the garage.
They return home when you aren't looking.   :)

So the Summoner isn't a bad idea since the game can, and will, relocate the vehicles for you.

Hadn't noticed that and it's a damned good point. My main (realism based) reasoning was doc and new area mod compatibility, but I like the way you think :D
