I have searched this forum and others and from what I have read it seems that it is possible to get Trebonius's amulet before dueling him in the Arena, by doing his quests. (Typically I have just taken him out ) but I was playing the game again and wanted to do his quests? I have finished the first but when I ask him for more duties, he tells me that he may have more once this 'trouble' has been cleared up. My question is have I progressed too far in the mages guild or main quest, or not far enough, or is this some kind of bug that I have run into. Currently I am two levels below Trebonius and have not yet been named Nevarine but have been "cured" of corpus. Any input would be appreciated..... (I know, I know, I should just put an end to his pathetic ignorence. )

You do not get the second quest until you have defeated Dagoth Ur. The same applies to the four 'grey' Morag Tong writs.

Thanks, I thought maybe that was it but didn't really want to keep going if I had run into a bug or something. Like I said, usually I just waste him.
