I bought Morrowind towards the end of 2012, but I found it a bit unplayable for a few reasons, namely that I couldn't increase the resolution beyond...like 800x600 or whatever it is, and the graphics are absolute crap. Despite wanting to play it, I decided not to bother looking for ways to fix that since I was still interested in Oblivion and Skyrim. But with my interest in those games waning recently, I've decided I want to play Morrowind. So I'd like to know how to make the resolution bigger, and where to get any good mods for graphic quality, and any other interesting, Lore-friendly mods that aren't too taxing on the system, since I'm on a crappy new laptop not built for gaming of any kind. Help?

 

TL;DR - Laptop crap, need mods that won't explode it. And bigger resolution.

You should definitely download the Morrowind Overhaul Sounds & Graphics

It allow you to personnalise you Morrowind with some of the bests mods.

the MGE XE is include in it and allow you to have shaders, you can increase the resolution up to 1920x1080 and many other things

Also, the top files of all time contain some very good mods, you should go and see.
