hmmm, well I'm not sure if Valtheim has its own faction but if it does ill find out give me a second

try asking the alternative start mod author for which bandit faction he let your char in. In the meantime I said that the old version, 1.5, is still up for download to use that does not have the mod script that combined everything. After you completely uninstalled OBIS 1.6D and we can't sort this out, you can use that to continue playing

The mod author of Alternative Start ignores every one of my posts, so I'm not going to even bother asking again. I'll just uninstall, wait 10 in-game days, and download 1.5.
