I've never used the dlc patcher before... so I have a quick question. do I need to cutout my modem while using the patcher to avoid getting tagged as a cheater or something? just asking, thought I should before I do something foolish. btw the mod looks good, even though I haven't fired it up yet.

You should be fine. It's not a patcher you actually run, just drop the 2 dll files into the right binaries folder. Has the added bonus of being able to play the game when the servers are down.

thanx for the quick reply. that's what I figured, but bioware has been a bit funny in regards to modifying files as of late. and I'd rather not make a simple assumption about such things, and have it be wrong. oh, I have played the mod, it's quite nice, and from what I can tell thus far, it's seamless. this must have taken a lot of work, so thanx.

I like this mod, it makes playing with Ash bearable now. <3
The only problem I have is when I use this it seems to block off the Embassies. I get stuck with an infinite load screen and a 'not responding' game. I'm testing it without the DLC to see if that fixes it.
Edit: XD Looks like it was an issue on my end. Replacing the DLC with their vanilla counterparts seems to have fixed it and the 'Block index offset' issue.

Sooo...I was just giving Texmod a try again with this applied, and I cannot seem to get Texmod to load.
Texmod itself selects the package, the game starts up, yet except for her face and hair the textures are still screwed up. Restarting the game multiple times did not make a difference, nor did offline-mode with Origin.
Does me using a .bat to have texmod and MassEffect3.exe renamed back and forth any bearing on this? Or admin clearance? Can't think of anything else, really.

It shouldn't. The only thing I can think of is have you installed any texture .mods to change her, like a high rez texture .mod for her default appearance? That would have changed the texmod identifiers, making it not work unless reverted back first.

Great work. But I find one bug. Standart uniform mesh is not replaced on Armax Combat Arena.

I'll go and check whether Otte's high resolution texture for her outfit is still in place, I may have forgotten about that. Although I doubt I applied it since getting my new replacement-hard drive week before last.
Even so, would that interfere with the entire .tpf? I did not notice any new squad selection icons, for one.
One final thought: Largon's replacement for EDI also accesses the BIOG_HMF_HED_PROMorph_R.pcc. It's the only other thing that would come to mind, and his mod runs without issue.

You said her head and hair look normal though? You would definitely be able to tell if it's not loading - her fatigues will be using her original outfit texture, her face will look wrong, and you won't see the new icons.
If you have texture .mods installed for any of the replaced textures, only those won't work, not the entire tpf.
And I double checked, Largon's mod should not interfere with anything as different files inside BIOG_HMF_HED_PROMorph_R.pcc are being replaced.
Are you using any other texmods and they're working fine?
