Okay, so while I was working on creating a cm partner based off one of my save games, Oblivion basically stopped working. While implementing my character in the CS, I messed up a couple times, but nothing that should've caused this. I was able to fully implement my character and see her in game. I just had minor issues, but i promise they're nothing relative to this. When I finally knew what  was doing, I erased the esp with all my "mess-ups" and created a new one. If I remember correctly I also created a new one because I was already experiencing this issue, but I'm not sure >.< Anyways, I'm fairly certain I did everything correctly while making the final version of my cm partner but I still had this issue.

 

Describing the problem in further detail, I start up my game like normal. I can skip the intro cinematics and pop up the loading screen (the one before I see the main menu). However, the loading never finishes. It tops near the beginning. Strangely though, Windows does not say Oblivion is being unresponsive. Also, if I choose not to kip the intro, every part of the intro will play. It's only when those finish does my game start to "freeze."

 

Any help is much appreciated and have a good day I will be searching for a solution more while waiting for an answer. If and when I find the solution, I shall mention it here.

 

Also, I run on Windows 7. If you need any more information, I can provide it.

 

 

 

 

Update: The problem is undoubtedly  rooted in the esp file that holds my cm partner, which I should've checked prior to posting here. The solution has not been found yet, however, I am going to make another new esp file for my cm partner. If that works then I will notify in a seperate post on this topic.

Yaaay I did it XD I just made a new esp and did it over and now my game works.
