I do appreciate the insight.  I have installed a patch though it was renamed so that I would know what it was( after install lots of things were named the same as other downloads).   Also I tried running without blood, Monster mod/ Immersive creatures.

I had other things installed with skeletal mods, though on this compilation I took them out.   It didn't seem to make any difference.

I understand my list is large, and I do appreciate the help.  I will admit if a friend of mine weren't running nearly this same setup with good success I would probably just stop playing.  I enjoyed Skyrim, played through it a few times, and eventually got bored.  The extra content was my draw, but at this point its pushing me to my limit.

I believe I am going to try to unequip all mods and play as a vanilla game.  If I still have a conflict that will spell out to me 8.1 and my build.  If I don't then its load order, or conflict.  I had tried it once, and still had a screen lock, but I hope it works this time.

Just recently, they released BOSS V3 BETA 8... so the non-beta V3 should be out anytime now. It maybe worth it to shelf this, and run the updated BOSS and compare lists, see if anything was changed with the updates. It's going to be less about a Masterlist reference and more about rules based SOLELY on your build, so it should fix isolated cases a bit better.

Again, sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Markus,

Regardless of not having THE answer, you have tried, and given a rather good informed look at what I am doing. I am looking for any and all ideas, so I am greatly appreciative.

I've been checking for 3 weeks solid, trying every patch, and fix I can find. I can't remember all of them, but everything from draw distance, to memory patches. Hi res, low res, optimized res. So if it is something that I have tried, it just helps me reinforce that I wasn't wrong in trying it.

Have no idea what this means, but I did try, with zero mods running god mode, and speedmult 1500, and tcl. lasted about 1 min and crash to desktop. Not a freeze as was normal. This was on a save already in place.
will try again with a new load of the game

So.. running skse, stock everything.. I was able to run around for about 35 seconds with god mode, speedmult, and collision off.
Soon as I got out of the cave I just ran straight. Did save as soon as I left the cave

Just to confirm, all these processes you're trying, are from a fresh game correct? Not one of your previous saves? Also, I believe you said that you had a bunch of 2k and 4k texture replacers, are those also no longer installed? Because they generally don't have ESP's you can disable, so people tend to forget to remove those as well.

yes this is without all advanced textures.  And yes I restarted the game with all mods turned off.  Made it out of the cave behind alduin.  Saved and started all tests from there.

Yes I also removed the hd textures.

Anyone have any suggestions to help me further along? I reverified all files with steam. Ran through steam, and during the test process from the skyrim stability it still locked up.

At this point it would appear that windows 8.1 must be my problem.
