I can't talk to people!!! WHAt do I do? this isn't some minor bug I can ignore, I can only talk to 50% of the people in Morrowind! What is going on! HElp MeEeEeEeE!

Okay

Take usual steps when getting technical difficulties

Step 1

Install the latest patch (esp important if you have BM or Trib)

Step 2

Remove all your plugins (except the offical ones)

Add each plugin back in 1 by 1 till you find the one that causes the problem

Step 3

When you have worked out which one causes the problem don't use it and post an alert on the forum so the rest of us are alert to any problems

If none of these work it could be a virus on your machine so check that otherwise thats me out of suggesttions

yeah if what pob says doesnt work do a defrag/virus scan/maybe a spyware scan?

or of course u cud reinstall morrowind or restore an earlier savegame.

As a last resort uninstal Morrowind, plugins, everything down to the Bethesda folder. Then run scan disk. After defrag your drive. Install Morrowind. Then play.
