WickedRequiem
I guess, with the increased ugrid, the game loads characters / initiate scripts before they're supposed to be initiated. It's causing the gate to be shut too early, the thalmor on the horse to go flying off into the air (I think this is caused by collision error w/ the horse being spawned too early on top of a building), etc etc. I really do want to increase the ugrid to 7 as it's so much prettier, but I'm worried about it breaking the scripting in the game. Any thoughts? Just play through Helgen with ugrid 5, and change it to 7 after leaving the cave at the end of Unbound quest? WickedRequiem
I'm just a tad concerned that, in the later portions of the game, the increased ugrid will cause more problems with spawning/scripts.Obviously, if it's just a "Helgen" specific issue, than it's not a very serious problem. ripple
Raising your ugridstoload above default game value will generate game instability (which can be mitigated if using the 'memory patch') and other potential issues resulting from precisely what you noted, throughout the entire game. CaffeinatedOrange
Set your uGrids back to 5 and don't touch it. Altering uGrids will always result in something getting messed up in the game, such as what you encountered. The only thing increasing uGrids is good for is for testing your system, the game's stability, and screenshots.
