Hi wghost81

Could you help make a small file to disable crit wound that reduces will for EU?

Rangnarok, I'll upload EU/EW/LW compatible version soon. It's not that hard to make. Stay tuned. :wink:

Uploaded a new mod called "Adjust Critical Wound Will Penalty for EU and EW" in place of an old "No crit wound will penalty" mod. New version is EU/EW/LW compatible and allows to easily set any will penalty.

I really apologize for looking like a moron, but can someone tell me where I'm messing up in installing the mod?

I'm trying out the gender ratio tweak but so far I've not been successful.

Extra info: XCOM EU

After downloading the patcher and the gender tweak, I set the XCOM EU path to the default, ie C:\...\common\XCom-Enemy-Unknown. Setting it anywhere else results in an error.

I follow the readme and disable phoning home etc

I apply the tweak by finding it, then changing the number 25 to 100. (Or 0. Tried both) And saving before clicking apply. The patch states that I'm successful. However, whenever I start a new game, I still get male (or female, depending on the value I put in) in my game. Recruiting appears to be unaffected as well.

So, may I ask, what am I doing wrong?

UsernameAllTaken, please, read the PatcherGUI readme file first: http://www.nexusmods...tils_readme.txt

I need a debug log to be able to see what's happening. Otherwise it'll be just shooting in the dark.

In response to post #19303359.

Thank you so much! Top man you are.

I was thinking though, for the next Xcom game, if the dev wants to do something like this, they should make it random, and make it so that crit wound can either increase or decrease perma-will. I can definitely live with that. It will be like a real situation, where something like being wounded badly can either make a soldier stronger or break him.

I've read it previously. It's no biggie tbh, I just kept running out of male soldiers to rename to my friends (and subsequently berate for missing 90% shots)

Can I just confirm that there's only one number 25 to change, which is

eForceGender : ( (Rand(100) < 25) where i change the 25 to 100/0?

UsernameAllTaken, you're changing the wrong number, apparently. Here's the portion of mod file:
// Female probability: change 25 to whatever value you like between 0 and 100
// Do not touch anything except number! Do not add spaces between number and other symbols!
// You can enter only integer values between 0 and 100, no floating-point values are allowed!
// Value 0 will result in all males, value 100 - in all females.
ALIAS=FemaleProb:<%b25>
Change 25 to 0 to get all males:
ALIAS=FemaleProb:<%b 0>

Ah, I really am blind. I missed that 25 but went after the other two 25s in the file itself. It's working now. Thanks a bunch. And I'm so sorry for troubling >.<

Hello!

Why Abductions in countries with satellite coverage, Hunker Down and Overwatch Delays & No Disappearing Corpses are not compatible with EW patch3?
