You were not wrong, Vista indeed had so many issues when released that scared people a lot. I see it as a transitional OS, somewhat similar the ill famed Millenium Edition (ME) was from 16 to 'real' 32 bits. Even XP had a controversial beginning and now, the real "longhorn" is scheduled for release this year, the Windows 7. That one is what I'm expecting before migrating my whole Windows system to 64 bits. Anyway I was never faced with the need of such choice, my machines are all result of constant upgrading, under the nowadays situation I would go for the 64 without a second thought, a few months ago I would not care at all except it should be a type I could 'downgrade' to XP.

Anyway there is no real reason to arguments here. The real choice concern should be the ability to upgrade to Win7 as soon it's released. People that are experimenting the RCs are talking goodnesses about it, what was to be expected since they must have learned with the Vista faults. For pointing it LHammonds would have another kudos from me, if I could give other :)
