I was at this strange door ( never actually done the shiviring isles  )

This kajit girl ran off and as it my duty I dicide to kill her, then I ran after her she jumped in the watter but I got her with my arrows

got back and then the soldier guy and the other one disapeared.

 

My question is does this affect any of the quest or gameplay if you dont have Gaius Prentus ???

I dont have any saves before this happend

Not really. If Gaius is there when you get back, he'll just tell you to "stay away".
